I’ve read quite a few books where I feel like the book is great, but with a few small, but significant edits, it could be much better.
Here, I’ll share a few ways I think anyone can make their book better.
- Add lots of description. I love description in books; It really make them more powerful
- Add more big conflict and get rid of the small conflict. Conflicts in a story make it more
interesting, and by removing the small, insignificant details can lighten up your story,
and help stop your reader from being distracted. - Like I said in the previous tip, your readers to be distracted. Removing distractions gives
way for bigger, more powerful subplots and details in your story. - Remove the parts you don’t like. Often, the solution is not to add, but remove.
